The Wowhaus way keeps it simple - no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play.
Each workshop is built around a set of creative exercises, designed to spark imagination and joy.
Using high-quality materials and inspired by leading artists and art movements, we place the process of making at the heart of every session.
We don’t draw lines between ages. Our workshops are designed to be inclusive. Whether it’s a session for kids or grown-ups, the exercises stay the same. Because we believe playful, accessible creativity is for everyone.
Children
Home-educated regular workshops
Foster independence, creativity and imagination. Join a welcoming community of children aged 6-12 years old. We currently meet every 2 weeks in Broadhempston.
Kids pop-ups
Happening in one of several brilliant art-rooms in and around Totnes, South Devon. These sessions embrace process-led art techniques, full of playful discovery. The accompanying grown-up is always welcome to make together with their child, as a brilliant creative team. It’s a wonderful bonding experience.
Adults
Open to all, explore your creativity in a relaxed and fun environment. From the popular Wowhaus Nights to a making afternoon in an inspiring setting. We’ll guide you through engaging techniques and making collectively around a large table bursting with creativity and full of chat and laughter.
There’ll be always be some Art History for context, usually about an unknown or forgotten extraordinary female artist. This new found knowledge adds a layer of excited energy and collective purpose to the playful making.
